Joined the Stilt team (acquired Dec 2022) to build a new lending platform that expanded from serving 2 states to 37, using Flask, PostgreSQL, and GCP.
Architected and maintained an infrastructure of 56 services, leveraging messaging queues, cron jobs, webhooks, Docker, Firebase, Pub/Sub, and Redis.
Led a predictive risk-scoring model that shortened the customer journey and reduced decision time to under 3 seconds, enabling automated borrower approvals.

Initial team member building the backend from scratch in Flask, MySQL, and GCP over 3 months before launch, contributing to code reviews, design docs, and QA test plans.

Resolved a critical payment-returns issue from an outdated third-party API, ensuring 100% of affected users were refunded via daily cron jobs, SFTP transfers, and file parsing.
